 Orengine International's History
Orengine operates in the energy business since the beginning of the eighties, developing know-how of highest industrial level. The Company was born as part of a multinational partnership Project for the energy spread in the country areas, mainly financed by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affaire and by the Ministerio de Energia y Minas of Ecuador.
Orengine’s first and most important purposes were projecting, building and commissioning small hydropower plants, mainly designed for isolated zones, typical of developing countries. Machineries, equipments (along with related software), were developed and tested by qualified Institutions and, in the meanwhile, attention were paid to introduce local industrial structures during the manufacturing process, either for cost reduction and to keep the product maintenance at least at a national level. During its first years of life, Orengine particularly supplied its products, besides of Italy, Europe and Ecuador, in many Central and South America countries.
Nowadays, both the collaboration with many strategic and First-Class Partners located worldwide and the constant technology's evolution and development, have allowed the Company to become an important industrial reality, one of the leaders of its own targeted market: the engineering and manufacturing of systems and components for energy.
